The legendary secret of good eaters
Colman’s of Norwich has completed over two centuries of perfection. Unlike most mustard manufacturers, the English brand sieves its seeds up to 9 times to remove any trace of impurities. That’s what gives it that famous full-on flavor. Actually, its seed dryer building, erected in 1890, still uses original wooden sieving equipment from the 1950s.
Proud of its Norfolk roots and its place in the community, it sources most primary materials for mustards and related products from many of the same farms it has always worked with, and in some cases the same families. Some of its current farmers are 5th generation Colman’s mustard seed growers.
